Avi is an accomplished leader and acclaimed broker who has delivered significant year on year growth for Scott Winton since his tenure as CEO began in 2018. With over 17 years’ experience in insurance broking, he is widely acclaimed as an authority for developing bespoke solutions to manage complex, high stakes risks. With a strong focus on innovation, integrity and empowerment, he is resolute in ensuring that Scott Winton sets the highest standards of insurance broking, adopting a long-term partnership approach with clients and industry stakeholders.

Lavinder has been the Chief Financial Officer at Scott Winton since 2018, bringing over 30 years of financial & management experience across the Asia Pacific region. As a senior finance executive, Lavinder plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategies, ensuring robust economic health and sound business decisions. His leadership, deep expertise and strategic insight is instrumental in maintaining the financial stability of the business while positioning it for sustainable growth. 

With his extensive background, Lavinder is deeply involved in managing and planning the firm’s financial activities and overseeing risk management. His keen analytical skills and forward-thinking approach have helped support the company’s expansion, enabling Scott Winton to navigate market complexities with confidence. Lavinder’s focus on prudent financial management ensures that the company remains agile and well-prepared for future opportunities.

Prior to joining Scott Winton, Lavinder served as the Chief Financial Officer at L.E.K Consulting for 18 years. During his tenure, he was a key contributor to the firm’s successful growth across the Asia Pacific region.

Rachelle has over 17 years of experience in Operations and Human Resources across diverse industries including insurance, accounting, legal, retail, manufacturing and FMCG. She has led various initiatives to streamline operations, drive performance, manage risk and enhance the customer experience.

Before joining Scott Winton, Rachelle held a transformational leadership role at Australian premium chocolate manufacturer and retailer Koko Black.  She has previously worked at leading firms and companies including Arnold Bloch Leibler, JB Hi-Fi and EY.  Her experience of different types of businesses coupled with her ability to tailor innovative solutions to operational challenges enables her to bring new insights and strong strategic direction to the world of insurance broking.

Rachelle is passionate about supporting the career growth of insurance professionals and ensuring Scott Winton meets the unique needs of its clients through trusted partnerships and standards of excellence.

Melissa is a seasoned professional who has worked her way up through the ranks at Scott Winton, now holding the senior leadership position of Head of Broking. Beginning with the company in 2010, Melissa quickly demonstrated her commitment and aptitude, giving her a broad understanding across multiple areas of insurance.  She has developed deep expertise in Financial Lines products, specifically Cyber, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers and Management Liability Insurance. 

She has overseen the management of intricate accounts for large corporate clients, leveraging her extensive knowledge and experience to deliver tailored solutions. Melissa is particularly known for her outstanding negotiation skills, enabling her to forge strong relationships with both clients and stakeholders, ensuring mutual success and satisfaction.

Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering exceptional risk management solutions, ensuring protection in an increasingly complex and evolving landscape. With a passion for excellence and a dedicated approach to her work, Melissa continues to be a driving force at Scott Winton.

Simon is a seasoned Account Director at Scott Winton, based in Sydney. 

With a career spanning nearly three decades, Simon has become a trusted advisor to corporate clients and high net worth individuals and families. His extensive experience in the industry, since 1996, has solidified his reputation as a professional who consistently delivers high-level retention as well as growth through referrals, thanks to the strong business relationships he forges with both clients and underwriters.

Simon's primary brokering expertise lies in Industrial Special Risk, Public & Products Liability, Equipment Breakdown, Marine, and Travel insurance. His deep knowledge in these areas allows him to tailor comprehensive insurance solutions that meet the unique needs of his clients and assist with claims handling. In addition to these specialties, Simon collaborates closely with senior colleagues on Financial Lines and Prestige Home & Motor policies, ensuring that every aspect of his clients' insurance portfolios is expertly managed.

Known for his commitment to excellence, Simon's approach is characterised by his ability to build lasting relationships, understand complex risks, and provide strategic advice that aligns with his clients' goals. His dedication to client service and his proactive approach to risk management make him a key asset to Scott Winton and the clients he serves.

Eli is an accomplished Account Director with over seven years of experience in the insurance industry at Scott Winton. He began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse, right before the Global Financial Crisis, where he developed a strong analytical foundation. Following this initial experience, Eli spent six years in energy consulting, which provided him with valuable insights into the broader financial landscape and its intersection with diverse industries. This unique background has equipped him with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the insurance sector effectively.

In his current role, Eli specialises in providing customised insurance solutions for large property owners, manufacturing firms, and a diverse range of businesses and family offices. His expertise spans a wide range of insurance products, including Industrial Special Risks, Casualty, Marine Transit, Stock Throughput and Financial Lines products. Notably, Eli also successfully manages a broad portfolio of religious institutions. This diverse knowledge allows him to craft strategies that meet the specific challenges faced by his clients, ensuring they receive comprehensive coverage and support.

Eli is recognised for his strong client service philosophy, understanding that building and maintaining lasting relationships is key to success in the insurance sector. Bree is an accomplished Account Director with over 19 years of experience in the insurance industry. Beginning her career at Chubb Insurance, Bree advanced through multiple roles, ultimately achieving the position of Senior Underwriter in the Personal Lines department. Later transitioning from underwriting to broking at Scott Winton, Bree has held various leadership roles including Senior Account Manager & Team leader. 

Bree’s attention to detail, thoroughness, dedication, and loyalty has led her to obtain a diverse client base, which includes property owners, manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers. Her portfolio of high-value clients includes complex corporate accounts consisting of Industrial Special Risks, Public and Products Liability, Motor Fleet, Corporate Travel and Marine Transit policies.

Bree is committed to providing the highest level of customer service, ensuring that clients’ needs are met with precision and care. Bree focuses on cultivating long-lasting client relationships by offering personalised support and proactive communication.

As a seasoned insurance broker with a decade of experience at Scott Winton, Eli Tatarka began his journey in the SME department, quickly rising to the role of SME Team Leader, and more recently, Account Director.

Eli manages a diverse portfolio that includes national property owners, corporate businesses, manufacturers and tech firms. His extensive expertise in construction insurance further strengthens his ability to provide tailored solutions for clients of all sizes.

Eli’s strategic approach and deep industry knowledge ensure successful client management, aligning perfectly with Scott Winton’s commitment to excellence and innovation across various sectors.

Alex brings over 8 years of experience in insurance broking, where he has demonstrated proficiency in delivering tailored insurance risk solutions for his clients. 

Before joining Scott Winton, Alex played a role in expanding the client base at Gallaghers Insurance (formerly known as Sound Insurance Services). In these roles, he was responsible for customising insurance programs for family run businesses & SME clients.

He ensures that clients receive comprehensive coverage that not only aligns with their business objectives but also provides them with peace of mind. His expertise encompasses Property, Liability, Motor & Professional Services insurance solutions.
